Nellikunnu Mosque

Nellikunnu Mosque is a famous Muslim pilgrim centre in Nellikunnu, Kasargod district. The exact date of its construction is still not clear by the Muslim devotees of this region who owes their religious roots to this masjid. This mosque has the tomb of Sant Thangal Uppapa, a great Muslim saint from Kollam. His religious services are very much noted and respected by the people of Nellikunnu and Mangalore. 

Thangal Uppapa Uroos is one of the famous rituals that takes place once every two years in the month of Dhul Hajj. The ritual is celebrated in memory of the demise of Thangal Uppapa.
