Meenvallam Waterfalls

Meenvallam waterfalls are one of the pristine unexplored waterfalls in Palakkad district, appreciated well for its serene beauty and surrounding forests. The water just cascades down into the Thuppanadu river, which further continues its journey to join with Thuthapuzha that empties into Bharathapuzha. This waterfall passes through Kalladikode hills and disperses to form other small falls on the way.

The waterfall surrounded by dense forests and hills is under the maintenance and protection of Thudikkode Vana Samrakshana Samathi of Olavakkode Range in Palakkad Forest Division. The dense unknown forests embedding the waterfalls is indeed an extension of the Silent Valley National Park. It is always best to visit the attraction after monsoon when the climatic conditions are favorable and the flow of the water is manageable. If you are all to see thrusting water splashing from the height, monsoon would be the time for you. Have a great trip to Meenvallam waterfalls and feel rejuvenated.
