Indian Business Museum, the very first of its kind is set up within IIM Kozhikode, established in the year 2013. The museum about the sprouting business entities was inaugurated by the then Human Resource Department Minister, Paalam Raju. It was such a great initiative that displays the growth of different businesses in India over the years, from the pre-independence era to the most modern post-independence liberation years. Almost all the big companies in India like TATA, Godrej, Reliance, Infosys, and Reserve Bank of India have small houses representing them inside the museum.
The whole museum spanning over an area of 23,000 square feet has a special pavilion for Malabar, sponsored by the Malabar Chamber of Commerce. A visit to this Business museum would be a great inspiration and encouragement for all the business entrepreneurs and aspiring businessmen who wish to thrive forward. The history of many successful businessmen shows that every single one of them began from a zero.
