Fantasy Park is the most visited amusement park in North Kerala. Located in Malampuzha, Palakkad, in proximity to Malampuzha Dam and Malampuzha Gardens, it has the magnificent Western Ghats as its backdrop. Spread over an area of 17 acres this amusement park was established in the year 1996 by Neo-Tech Amusement Pvt. Lmt. as solely for dry land rides. In the later years, the park expanded to accommodate more and more water rides and other attractions.
Now the amusement park boasts to have 35 rides including both land and water rides, a planetarium for the curious little minds to have an out of the world experience- meeting with the stars, water fountains, food courts, ice cream counters and much more. In 1998, Fantasy park won the State award for the Best Innovative Tourism Product, given by the Kerala Tourism department.
It is a wonderful thrilling destination for a one day trip of schools and family day outs. The park has almost all kinds of rides suitable for all age groups. When Battery Car Ride, Water Kiddy Ride, Baby Train Ride and Mini Tele Compact are suitable for children under a certain age, Oriental Express Train, Water Merry Go Round, Go Kart, Pirate Boat and Dragon Coaster offer ultimate entertainment and pleasure for the adults and older people.
