Mango Meadows, the world’s first agricultural theme park, is located in Kaduthuruthy- Ayamkudy road in Kottayam district. This theme park is spread across an area of 30 acres of land with more than 4500 species of plants, 1950 medicinal plants, 700 species of forest trees etc. Mango Meadows is the brainchild of a businessman, N.K. Kurian, whose immense effort for 14 long years resulted in the formation of this agricultural theme park.
This eco-farm also incorporates cottages for the tourists to stay and enjoy the serene life within the grasp of nature. Mango Meadows has rare collections of flora, even the endangered ones. Apart from the sightseeing, this theme park also facilitates different fun activities like boating, swimming, fish feeding, fishing, cycling, archery, ropeway etc. For more relaxing, there are Ayurvedic massage parlours and resort rooms available.
