A heavenly abode of spiritual sanctity, Santhigiri Ashram, is located in Pothencode, Thiruvananthapuram. The ashram was established by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru. The ashram still works under the teachings and principles of Guru, his vision of revitalising life, in all its aspects, spiritually, socially, economically and culturally is still the motto of the ashram.
Within the ashram compound, the spiritual devotees of Guru have built a beautiful monument, Parnasala, which is in the shape of a fully bloomed lotus built with white Makrana marble. The ashram has a lotus temple, prayer hall, sahakarana mandiram, kitchen and a dining hall. At a time, the ashram can accommodate around 1500 devotees.
