Baby beach, as the name suggests is one of the tiny beaches in Kannur, but not so tiny for the glorious views it offers. Located near the cantonment area, in Payyambalam, the Baby beach is actually an extension of the Payyambalam beach. It is one of the rock beaches where one can sit on the giant rocks and enjoy the water waves hitting and splashing over the rocks. Even though you can’t take a dip in the water, you are sure to get sprinkled on.
One can see several people on their morning jogs or evening strolls through the palm-fringed beach shores. The sunrise and sunset views on Baby beach are truly mesmerizing, the sight of orange flame sinking down the horizon is a hilarious sight indeed. One can also visit Payyambalam beach, Kannur Lighthouse, Lighthouse Museum, St. Angelo fort etc. at walking distance from this magnificent beach.
