Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls often mentioned together are among the greatest tourist attractions on Kochi-Munnar National Highway. The place is exactly in between two places, Adimaly in the west and Neriamangalam in the east. Both the waterfalls are fed by the Deviyar river. Cheeyappara waterfalls cascading down from almost seven steps rushes downwards to meet Valara waterfalls and form the inglorious vision for the viewers.
This chain of waterfalls originated from the Western Ghats is a real treat to the eyes and they can be easily spotted along the highway onto the route to Munnar.
